However, since Aegon’s Conquest, they have served as Wardens of the North, governing as the Lords of Winterfell. Their ancestral seat, Winterfell, is renowned for its formidable strength and enduring legacy.
The house’s sigil depicts a grey direwolf racing across a field of white, and their motto, “Winter Is Coming,” serves as a rare warning rather than a boast. Several point-of-view characters in the “A Song of Ice and Fire” series belong to House Stark, offering readers an intimate look into the family’s dynamics and challenges.

Play Style
The Stark faction thrives with an aggressive and relentless approach. Their armies are formidable in close combat, becoming even stronger as they endure losses and push deeper into battle.
